Living somewhere between the hazy nostalgia of indie sleaze and dark psychedelia, A.L. STRANGE’s first single ‘Picture Perfect’ is due for release Friday 13th February 2026 on Shaker Records / AWAL. Produced by Dan Lyons (Fat White Family/ La Femme/ Brian Jonestown Massacre/ Misty Miller), the E.P. takes the listener on a whistle stop tour of active heartbreak.
Picture dingy hotel rooms and baron suburban landscapes, holograms of misled youth and a healthy hatred of the patriarchy.
A.L. STRANGE cooks up a storm of misanthropy before finally whisking us off to the desert and presenting us with a dish that’s usually best served cold.
Recorded at Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate and mixed at The Albion Rooms over ten days in 2025, ‘Picture Perfect’ is the first single to be released from A.L. STRANGE’s debut EP of the same name.
